ripply is provided by Paul Gerios, as an independent project currently in early testing ("we"). You can reach us at hello@joinripply.com.

ripply lets the people on a rental stay keep one shared record of what they notice, and lets hosts see and answer it. It records what people write and when they sent it.

ripply is not a booking service, a payment service or a judge of disputes. It does not check that what people report is true, and a record in ripply is not a legal document or a guarantee of any outcome, for a deposit or anything else. What a record is worth in a disagreement is for the people involved, and their booking platform or courts, to decide.

• Guests can use ripply without an account. Signing in is optional, with an email link and no password.
• You need to be at least 16.
• Keep your stay links and sign-in emails to yourself: anyone with a stay's link can join it. Whoever started a stay can replace its link at any time.
• You are responsible for what you post, and for the names you add for other people.

What you write and the photos you add stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people on the stay, only to run ripply. On a stay shared with others, what you posted is part of their record too, so it stays when you leave or delete your account, as the privacy page explains.

Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that shows people who have not agreed to it, and do not use ripply to harass anyone. We may remove content or close access that breaks these terms.

Hosts use ripply to hear about and answer what guests report. You remain responsible for your property, for how you deal with your guests, and for your obligations under your booking platform and the law. ripply does not take part in the rental.

We work to keep ripply running and your records safe, but it is provided as it is, and may sometimes be unavailable or change. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: any stay can be saved as a PDF. If we ever stop ripply, we will tell you in advance and give you time to save your records.

ripply is free to use. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses arising from what users post or from disagreements between guests and hosts. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

You can stop using ripply at any time, and delete your account from the app. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
